Do you have a relationship with your womb?
How can you call yourself a woman when you have never had a conversation with your womb before? The vagina and the uterus are more than just sexual organs to provide sexual pleasure as well as to produce babies. There is a life force, a life energy that is forever present in the womb region, be it during premenstrual stages, to the child bearing years of your life, even during menstruation. The brain and the uterus are always working together doing the magic that they always produce. How can you better connect with your womb? 1. Do alter work to connect to your source or spirit first I normally do my alter work very early in the mornings, say around 3:30am to 4am. I prefer to use the most silent times of the day to connect to myself. This allows me to be more focused as there are fewer interruptions and noise. When you are doing alter work, you are basically connecting your essence with the 5 elements of the earth which are fire (your candle), water (place water in your alter), earth (ganja, a plant, crystals, etc), air (incense, feather, flag etc), and your spirit as ether. I always prefer to use a kuchi as this instrument allows me to engage my body with the elements as well. 2. Journaling Journaling is very important for reflecting, if you journal your thoughts after you have meditated or had a prayer moment or dreams etc. 3. Womb Yoga This is done by practising yoga postures that are meant to strengthen the pelvic floor. 4. Breathing Exercises breathing is the best way to reconnect with your inner self and the rate and frequency of your breathe play an important role in this. 5. Beginning a relationship with your womb Start to connect with your womb by connecting to your inner voice or strengthening your intuition (chakra work always seems to assist in this regard) 6. Expose your womb to the elements of the universe as well If you can, it would be nice for you to let your vagina breathe (meaning less panty wearing at night or when you are at home going nowhere to allow the air to flow in), giving your nookie some regular sunlight is also a great idea to nourish yourself with some natural vitamin D, etc 7. PRAY OR TALK TO YOURSELF I think this is pretty self explanatory, talk to yourself as often as you can and be clear and specific about what your intention for the conversation is. Now that I have shared a few tips on how I connect and bond with my inner self (womb), do you have any other workable methods that you could share with us? Or any additional information that you think would be of value in this regard. Love and light...
